3f03de031c Re-factor into separate compression module
Introduce a `conn_interface` to simplify the decision logic which API
we must call.

This also fixes some bugs of the previous commit.

f49ccb3262 Fix wording of licensing terms
It has been pointed out that the wording of the license of this library is
not entirely clear.

The term "dual licensing" usually refers to a licence choice of two
licenses "LICENSE1 _or_ LICENSE2.
Instead the license of this library claimed "LICENSE1 _and_ LICENSE2".

After an internal discussion with @metajack and @pasis it was made clear
that the initial idea was to dual license the library in the usual way.

This was also made clear by jack on the ML in the past [0].
As of jack, these licensing terms originated from jquery, which also used
the 'and' version in the past and has since been corrected [1].

This patch changes the license terms to 'MIT or GPLv3' and also adds SPDX
headers [2].

f0383d50cd Include unistd.h for ssize_t
When compiling on buildroot I get:
`src/tls.c:235:28: error: ‘ssize_t’ undeclared (first use in this
function); did you mean ‘size_t’? `

To have this POSIX type available we will need to include
`sys/types.h` or `unistd.h`.

4b5e103d9c move password cache into libstrophe
The cache is stored per connection object and is cleared on
* entry of wrong password
* release of connection object
* successful connection

It can be configured that libstrophe retries the password entry in case
the user entered a wrong password.

f23ac83c95 add callback functionality on certificate verification failure
Based on the differences to libmesode this functionality has been added.

It allows a library-user to set a callback for cases where the TLS stack
can't verify a received certificate and let the end-user decide what to
do.

examples/basic implements an example handler of said functionality.

3ee4193043 Replace the genericly-named tls.c with a tls_gnutls.c for switching
support in and out. It's easier for the build system if we do this
with #ifdef's but conditional compilation is easier while we're
playing around.

Also rename a function.

5c50538338 Initial draft of a TLS abstraction layer based on GNU TLS.
This adds a tls_t that looks a bit like a socket, but can turn
on and off tls. The idea would be to plug this into the xmpp_conn_t
and use it iff the connection is in TLS mode.
